I phoned with a situation that could have been serious, I was given an appointment within 90 minutes, I had a test done, had the result straight away and the GP checked the result immediately. No action was required and I was booked in for a follow up check the following week. My notes were updated on the system the following day. There was nothing that could have been done better.

I submitted an econsult asking for an appointment to speak to the pharmacist at the surgery. I understand that the wait for an appointment was very long. I was having problems with cholesteryl tablets. I was delighted to receive a telephone call from the GP to talk through this problem, as she felt I needed to resolve the query quickly. She was extremely helpful spent Time with me on the phone, listened to what I said and we came to an understanding about my way forward. It Was a very successful telephone appointment.

Saw a doctor who was really helpful and listened to me. At the moment it’s still the same problem or even worse just trying to get through to the surgery to speak to somebody (mornings) but having said that the receptionists are really helpful..With all the patients on the books I feel the surgery does a good job.

I had completed an econsult, however it was not sent through to the surgery, advice was to speak to someone. The following morning i popped into the surgery to see if I could get an appointment. To my utter amazement I was given an immediate appointment. I was reassured that what I have is a horrible virus (that is still lingering). I simply couldn’t ask for more. Thank you.

The reception staff were very helpful. My bloods were taken without bruising. The doctor was very helpful & contacted my consultan chasing up my CT scan. I have also been helped recently by the paramedic (Paul) who was so helpful.

I saw the clinical pharmacist who contacted me for a face to face appointment. She spent extended time with me explaining my conditions and her recommendations for going forward. She explained any possible side effects of the medications I would be taking as well as discussing life style changes. I did not feel rushed at all and was able to ask questions. She booked a follow-up appointment with me there and then so that she could check on my progress in the coming weeks.

I saw Mr Paul Eyre today, he was very friendly and approachable. He listened to everything I said to ensure he had an accurate picture of what was wrong by asking all the appropriate questions. I had already done a 'Dr Google' to self diagnose as my initial thoughts of an ear infection were not checking out, I believed it was a TMJ disorder, which was in fact correct, he said it's not always a bad idea to use! He then fully checked everything to ensure the symptoms matched the potential diagnosis which they seemed to. He explained that he would refer me to specialist, gave me a print out of exercises to do in the meantime, told me things to look out for if things got worse and also booked me for a hearing test at a well known hearing test establishment. I couldn't ask for a better interaction, Paul was very thorough, professional and reassuring. Thank you so much to Paul, really appreciate the time you took to listen and assist me.

My appointment with a nurse was arranged because a routine blood pressure test at the pharmacy showed high readings. When the nurse tested my blood pressure at the surgery it was still high but as I explained this had happened before and wearing a monitor had shown there was no problem, she gave me a form to record readings at home for 7 days. I was pleased the nurse listened patiently to my explanation and felt if there was anything wrong it would be picked up. The only improvement I can suggest is a text or similar when no further appointment is necessary.

The online booking system is not good at all. Opens at 8am , then by 8:01am, not open and must call or try again tomorrow . However when I have called the surgery the reception staff are very helpful, efficient and do their best to find you the earliest available appointment.
